Committed to enhancing the quality of instruction and research and building a vibrant, collaborative and internationally-oriented higher education environment, The Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs of the Hellenic Republic launches the Visiting Professors/Visiting Researchers Program.

The Program aims to boost internationalization of Greek Higher Education and promote excellence in academic instruction and scientific research by encouraging a flow of top scholars and researchers into Greece to carry out teaching activities, conduct research and develop programming in Greek universities.

The project’s direct beneficiaries are Greek Higher Education Institutions (ΗEIs) in order to finance Visiting Professors/Visiting Researchers who will provide teaching/research work. The project will also co-finance cooperating companies from Greece or abroad, which will implement a collaborative research project together with a Visiting Professor/Visiting Researcher.
